Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Skiim is a Chrome extension that analyzes emails within Gmail using AI. This policy explains exactly what data is collected, where it goes, and what is never touched.

Skiim never sells your data, never reads your emails without your action, and never stores email content beyond the moment of analysis.

What data does Skiim access?

Skiim reads the content of emails you choose to analyze within Gmail. This includes email subject lines, sender information, and email body text. Skiim only reads an email when you explicitly trigger an analysis — it does not run in the background or scan your inbox passively.

How is your data processed?

When you analyze an email, its text is sent to Skiim's backend server (skiim-server-production.up.railway.app), which forwards it to the Anthropic API (Claude) for analysis and returns the result. Email content is used solely to generate the analysis — it is not logged, stored, or used for any other purpose.

Account and authentication

Skiim uses Google Sign-In (via Supabase Auth) to create your account. When you sign in, Skiim stores your email address and a unique user ID to manage your subscription and usage quota. Your Google OAuth token is stored locally in your browser and used only to authenticate requests to Skiim's backend.
